Estate Planning  & Probate Services

     The goal of our estate planning is to provide services to families in a confidential, competent and respectful manner.  We use living revocable trusts, wills, transfer-on-death planning, powers of attorney for health and finances, marital property planning, and family business planning.  We have a special focus on helping families with elderlaw issues and disability planning. 

     We aren’t fond of “cookie cutter” solutions, but use a wide array of options with the primary goals:  to avoid probate (unless administration or court supervision is desired); to avoid estate taxes; to allow families to maintain maximum control of the well-being of their family members; andto protect assets, where practical, from nursing home care and other expenses. 

     We assist clients not only to create documents, but also help them to understand the documents, retitle the real estate and other assets, and to coordinate the estate planning with other professionals. We also offer full trust and estate administration including assistance with all tax returns and court filings.
